Meet the Team
Core Financial Paraplanning Limited is made up of two teams, who work very closely together. Our Head Office team are based in Leeds, whilst our Paraplanners are spread around the UK.

Hannah
Managing Director
Hannah started Core Financial Planning Limited way back in 2014, although she had been building the business in a different guise since 2011 and the start of her journey into Paraplanning. Hannah is a huge advocate for Women in Financial Services and Paraplanning as a career in its own right.
Hannah won Director of the Year 2023 at the Yorkshire Financial Awards and been a finalist for Woman of the Year – Paraplanning in the Women in Financial Advice Awards 2023 and Women in Investment 2023.
3 things you may not know about Hannah
1. Hannah trained at Dance College in Contemporary and Ballet
2. Hannah has abseiled down the Orbital Tower at the London Olympic Village
3. Hannah’s favourite ice-cream flavours are Mint Choc-Chip and Pistachio (although not together!)
Jayne
Paraplanner
Jayne has worked with Hannah from day one and has been a huge part of the success of Core Financial Paraplanning Limited. Jayne not only provides a valuable Paraplanning resource but also lends her previous Business Management expertise to firms to maximise their potential.

1. Jayne attended a Garden Party at Buckingham Palace for her services to charity
2. In her spare time, Jayne likes to play Walking Football
3. Jayne is studying a Politics and Social Science degree as she enters semi-retirement.
Micaela
Trainee Paraplanner
Having come into the industry with no prior Financial Services experience, Micaela has been flying through her journey to becoming a Paraplanner. Micaela provides excellent client services to both our Advisers and Firms, but also their clients too.
3 things you may not know about Micaela
1. Before entering Financial Services, Micaela was a qualified Counsellor
2. Micaela is terrified of butterflies
3. Micaela is the youngest of three siblings by 10 and 13 years.
Lauren
Administrator
Lauren completes the Head Office team and is responsible for providing the majority of our Administration and Data Gathering. Lauren’s organisational skills are second to none and she makes all our admin tasks look easy!

1. Lauren is a trained Vinyasa Yoga teacher
2. Lauren lived in Edinburgh for 4 years
3. Lauren loves to travel, experience new place and cultures.
Paraplanners
We love our Paraplanners but what we think makes them even more interesting than how long they have been in the industry or which exams they are taking, is the things that they do outside of Paraplanning!
Georgina
Georgina is an artist in her spare time and sells her work online. She is a Reiki practitioner and mum to three adorable cats!
Julie
In her spare time, Julie volunteers for a local homeless charity, cooking hot meals for up to 120 people.
Lauren
Outside of Paraplanning, Lauren is a Mum of 2 (3 if you count her husband), plays acoustic guitar and loves finding new foodie havens!
Hannah
When she isn’t Paraplanning, Hannah is a professional Sports Commentator, a keen water sports enthusiast and also speaks 3 languages!
Ken
Ken loves Drum n Bass, and her party trick is doing the worm. She loves to cook but is a self-claimed rubbish baker and once experienced a 7.5 earthquake in St. Lucia!
Barry
When he isn’t Paraplanning, Barry is self-confessed comic and sci-fi geek. He loves alternative music and gigs and has somehow managed to teach himself to write with his foot!
Alex
Alex loves to travel either exploring new places or visiting her Danish family. She is constantly working on new interior design ideas but loves nothing more than a workout to finish off her day!
