Who We Are

Hannah founded Core Financial Planning Limited back in 2011 alongside her mum, Jayne, and has been passionate about paraplanning ever since. Throughout her career, she has worked with both directly authorised and network firms, gaining a deep understanding of the profession from multiple perspectives.

As one of the very few paraplanners in the industry to have worked exclusively in an outsourced capacity, Hannah truly understands what it takes to build strong, collaborative, and long‑lasting relationships with the firms she supports. In fact, she is still working with some of her very first advisers all these years later — a testament to the trust and consistency she brings to every partnership.
Hannah’s commitment to excellence has been recognised across the profession, having been named Director of the Year 2023 at the Yorkshire Financial Awards and Team Leader of the Year 2024 at the Professional Paraplanner Awards.

1. Hannah trained at Dance College in Contemporary and Ballet
2. Hannah has abseiled down the Orbital Tower at the London Olympic Village
3. Hannah’s favourite ice-cream flavours are Mint Choc-Chip and Pistachio (although not together!)

Kimberley brings broad experience from both in-house and outsourced role and her enthusiasm for Paraplanning and supporting others shines through in everything she does. Kimberley helps ensure Core continues to run efficiently while delivering outstanding service to a mix of independent and network firms. Kimberley also oversees the training and development of the team and takes great pride in living the Core values every day!

3 things you may not know about Kimberley

1. Kimberley & her husband love downhill mountain bike riding and can often be found flying down trails somewhere.
2. Kimberley and her family love Lego – they have over 40 sets!
3. Being at the beach is her absolute favourite place to be!

Having come into the industry with no prior Financial Services experience, Micaela has been flying through her journey to becoming a Paraplanner.  Micaela provides excellent client services to both our Advisers and Firms, but also their clients too.

3 things you may not know about Micaela

1. Before entering Financial Services, Micaela was a qualified Counsellor
2. Micaela is terrified of butterflies
3. Micaela is the youngest of three siblings by 10 and 13 years.

Avril completes the Head Office team and is responsible for the majority of our Administration and Data Gathering, along with preparing annual reviews and tackling anything else that is thrown her way.

3 things you may not know about Avril

1.Avril has skydived from 12,000 feet over Kent and done indoor skydiving too!
2. Avril got married in a safari park surrounded by wild animals including giraffes, monkeys and lions to name a few!
3. Avril has fostered over 400 cats and kittens as a volunteer fosterer for two independent cat rescue charities.
